Good Will Store Legacy

I drove mom past a Good Will Store and asked her if she wanted to go in. She told me she wanted to, and she hadn’t been to one in a long while. Then she recounted to me how her mom would make sure to get to the Good Will store early in order to get all the good stuff before it was gone. She said they paid almost nothing for their haul, and whatever Mama couldn’t get, Papa was sure to go get himself. She told me that one time they all got together and bought something from the Good Will, including a card, for her Papa’s birthday. She told me that he knew it was tough to do, and he appreciated it all the more.
