I had not gone to see mom in quite some time, and was happy to see her looking very happy and healthy today…she had a little runny nose, but otherwise seemed fine. I walked in, she saw me, and smiled her smile. I sat next to her, and she kept saying, “get over here, get over here.” I asked her if she knew me, and she said, “You are Jackianne.” Happy day.
It looked like she had just gotten a haircut and a manicure, and in her yellow sweater and sparkly top, she was a knockout. They are getting ready for Cinco de Mayo, and she had helped make a paper mache pinata earlier. Seems like most of the staff at Silverado really like her and enjoy her.
Of course, a little later as we talked, she called me Kathryn Sue. She ate a good lunch of chicken and veggies, and devoured the dessert.
During lunch, she was people watching. They usually sit her facing the rest of the room, so she always has a great view of everyone.
By the way…I had taken about 6 pix of her. I showed them all to her and this is the one she said I could post to everyone.
