through first part of 2016, mom has really slowed down and isn’t very active or communicative at all. mostly stares at us for a few seconds and then looks away. doesn’t really respond each time when we speak to her. very sleepy and nods off quite a bit. can still finish off her meals. here she had just finished a meal and they took her in to join the others for a movie. she preferred another nap.
