the caretakers at Silverado are really wonderful as you can see in this video. mom is too weak to eat and can’t really swallow food. the caregiver is spoon feeding her a liquid lunch. even then it is an effort to swallow. she looks pretty good, but is hardly aware of anything except that she needs to try and swallow. at the end of the video, you can see her sigh from the effort. also as seen, she often gets a tear in the corner of her eye. does she recognize my voice or presence? not sure. this was the last video I was able to take of her.

Jackie, thank you for keeping this video diary for all to see and remember. Mom fought a long battle hard battle with this horrible disease. Her strength was amazing to the end. I miss her so much.
